Ha.
Pun in the title.
This is my newest character, Cawl.
He's some sort of canid, probably a wolf in the end, who's a fighter. He's vicious and bloodthirsty, but in return for his fights he receives numerous wounds and scars. He currently only has two working legs, one of which is covered by a metal guard, studded with long spikes. His other front leg no longer exists, but has been replaced with a wooden branch is order to support his weight, held there by numerous bandages. The would there had never funny healed, and is now being torn open again by the constant chafing of the branch, but there's nothing else he can do.
Luckily, his last remaining back leg is still in generally good health, with only a small would to hos hock, which was quickly bandages up.

He has no ears, and one of his eyes is missing while the other is in such a mess that he couldn't even dream of seeing through it again. Thus, he wears a bandage over them, to protect the open wound from flies and other meat-eating insects.
He has become mangy over time, unable to clean himself properly, unable to hunt...

Now he's a kerl, a hermit among his kind, living near numerous ant nests, where he gets protein, and a small lake where he can drink.
However, don't think he can no longer fight.
Cawl's time isn't over yet.

(He has nothing to do with Bada or Kalla by the way! Just a side charater...)

Nice title. ;P

Wow, Cawl sounds pretty interesting. =) It sure sounds like he has a tough life now, though. =( That stick leg doesn't look too comfortable.

This looks like yet another style, here. I like the tectures. The way the dirt was done with bigger patches and duller colors under the water is great. =) The various shades in the clouds are nice, though I think a few places are a little grainy and should be smoothed out. I also think the grass is a little too uniform in shape.

It looks like the land on which Cawl lays breaks off a little early or too sharply. I would suggest adding in a vague hill or ridge in the background, or simply extending flat ground to a point further up in the picture. Since a lake is in this scene, and lakes usually form in areas lower than the land around them, having a higher horizon is particularly important.

Cawl's cute. =) I like the shape of his head and muzzle. =D All the different hues you have put into him also suit him nicely. The varied tectures in his fur give him a scruffy look, as do the scars and what look like hastily done bandages. And his back foot is really cute. :XD: I love the black pad on it. =D

You know what I want to see? I want to see Cawl standing up. That would be cool. =)
